First, on the suit: Yeah, paying cash was spurred by a glitch in the CC processor. I regret the splurge, but I’ll feel a lot better when I pay the next card down, next month (provided, of course, someone spots me a Campari or two at Croquet (more below).

I’m on duty on the dorm right now. And we’ve just had a stink-bomb incident on the other halls, but not on mine, baby. That’s what comes of my ever watchful eye.
All that meaans is that I have wasted the last two days watching The Godfather and realizing
1) How good it actually is, as a production.
2) How much of a difference it makes that, really, I know this stuff. I mean the yelling which isn’t really yelling… the talking over each other during meals… The whole dramaticism of being very open, while at the same time, closed-mouth and quiet about “feelings.”
