It’s been so long I almost forgot my password to log into my own site. How hard-core is that?
Not much has happened, really, except I filmed a full length movie and got my brother married (I’ll take credit for that at least until he sees this).
As for the movie, let’s see if anyone is reading this: I re-filmed CASABLANCA starring students at my school. It seemed (at first) to make so much sense: Very little costume changes; one basic setting; and bad, bad lighting.
Anyway, I’ll have more on what I “discovered” about everyone’s favorite story later, and hopefully some clips).
For now, for mom: WOOT is worth looking into. Here’s the deal: every 24 hours they are selling one item (think Overstock.com without the shitty website, and all the shitty products, like Pierre Cardin Suits in size 54L). The item is sold until Midnight, or they run out.
I haven’t bought anything, yet, but I’m on a simplicity kick, and I go there once a day to check it out.
Incidentally, for all DC peeps, attending weekly salons on NH ave: Woot now has a subsidiary: WINE WOOT. Same deal, but for wine.
Great idea, for those who hate browsing for alcohol, or just have no where to browse (me, both). Only problem is that those in the Keystone State cannot have wine shipped to them.
What we need is a Smokey and The Bandit for the Sideways crowd.
